Simply slide the Shelf Blocker between the seat and the post to secure the seat in a shelf position. Then, adjust your seat bolt down into the Shelf Blocker to lock it in place securely.

Mine was not the same as the one pictured it is not tapered and doesn’t fit the way it is supposed and is pretty much useless. Sent an email to the company who has yet to respond.

I know we already got this taken care of, so I'm replying to your feedback for others to see. Thank you for your honest feedback and bringing this to our attention.

We had to redesign the shelf blocker to fit the Beast Stand as they made a change to the seat post. This change caused the gap to be smaller between the seat and the post when stored in the shelf position. We ordered a new post from Beast Gear to confirm the change we made was effective, and we sent one to Kirk. The new design should work exactly how the first version did.
